Rosso Rumblings
Thursdays sips, Montepulciano on these lips
I love a Montelpulciano d’Abruzzo,
the smell of bare feet pressing into wet ground, lavender and sorrel, rose petals and a lover’s toe
I love the savory and sweet notes, the skinny jean mouthfeel
Tastes like Sade’s “Sweetest Taboo”
(Actually most Italian bottles I love taste like Sade’s music)
I love that they call out for bresaola and sweet soppressata but also jerk pork sold on the roadside on the drive to my mother’s tiny village in those misty mountains.
I’m sipping lovely. Hope you are, too😉🍷
